To prevent the M10 trilobular locking bolts from wearing into the aluminium poles and causing fracture points, the patented stainless steel transition shoe was developed. The stainless steel transition shoe fits between the aluminium pole wall and M10 trilobular locking bolts to prevent wear and eliminate any electrolysis action between the bolts and pole. The innovative stainless steel transition shoe must be placed between the pole and locking bolts and tightened evenly between 10 and 12 Nm.
